Parish Pastoral Council
The  Pastoral Council meets monthly and members are selected to serve either a one, two, or three year term.  Parishioners in good standing can nominate themselves or nominate other parishioners in good standing.  Nominees names are then placed in a bowl and new members are randomly selected in June.

We the members of the St. Paul of the Cross-St. Rose Pastoral Council, and our Pastor agree to work together by the following Covenant:

Guided by the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the Pastor of St. Paul of the Cross-St. Rose Parishes will consult with the Pastoral Council regarding long-rang pastoral planning affecting the whole of life in the two parish community. The Council shall be a sign and witness of unity for the larger community.

The Pastoral Council will be the pastoral planning body-discerning common direction and planning for the future of the two parishes. The Council will develop and periodically assess and update a pastoral plan. When concerns are identified, they will be studied, solutions explored, and recommendations made to the Pastor.  The Pastoral Council will encourage and work with the parishes' staff and committees to seek ways in which to meet the pastoral needs of our entire community. The Council will facilitate and promote frequent and thorough communications, understanding, and collaboration within the two-parish community as well as foster the relationship with the Diocese and the universal Church.
